Facades – easily and quickly

The Company introduces new fibrecement façade boards for ventilated facades. The boards are available in the following sizes: 400 x 800 mm, 600 x 600 mm, thickness: 5,0 mm. Another product for ship laying are the sheets called Planks – their size is 300 x 197 x 7,0 mm. These boards, produced in the factory in Beroun, are available with a smooth surface treatment, or with a surface, which truly imitates wood.

The planks obtain their final look during a three-step colouring process. Finally, the planks are covered with acrylic paint in five colours – black, graphite, brown, gray and red. These façade boards are suitable for installation on all kinds of grates; they can be glued or fastened by twists and rivets.

 

 

Ship laying of Cembrit boards
The boards are installed by the so called ship laying with hidden anchoring under the lower part of the following board – the overlap is 60 mm. If you mount the boards on a wooden frame, we recommend to use twists 4.8 x 38 mm or nails 2,5 x 37 mm. The diameter of the pre-bored hole for twists is 7 mm, for nails 4 mm. On the vertical segments of the frame, under the boards are rubber EPDM strips.

 

Anchoring of the boards

You can install the façade boards on different kinds of underlayer frames and constructions. You can use either wooden or metal framed grounds, made of both aluminium and steel, or very popular combined grounds With the help of a properly chosen underconstruction, you will create a longitudinal ventilated interspace between the thermal insulation and the façade board. At the same time, you will get a reliable construction for mounting of the boards.
The boards can be fastened to the construction with the help of both twists and rivets; you can glue them to the underconstruction as well. As a part of the delivery, you will get the anchoring material: twists, rivets and rubber underlayer strips. We cooperate with the company Sika CZ concerning the glues for façade boards.
