Pneumatic transport is the way of the transport of bulk material. The carrier medium is air, so the transport of material through duct by direct or indirect dynamic effects of air flow upon particles to be transported is concerned. Pneumatic transport can be classified to mobile and stationary transport. As mobile pneumatic transport we can count the transport of bulk material by various mobile means – containers, dry-bulk tank trucks, semitrailers. As stationary pneumatic transport we can consider fixed built-in equipment at certain place.
