 Both ATC systems are functionally available, for both APP and ACC services. 

Major system, by its size and also capacity, is the system COMPASS Magnus, which is designed for areas with more flights. The compact system with a stable nub and high level of flexibility is the system COMPASS Easy.

    COMPASS Magnus is a complete modular ATC system. Interfacing components are based on recognized standards allowing implementations in both partial and complete ATC system upgrades. 
    Up to now, the ATC solutions were designed to be implemented on large scale operations. However the "one size fits all" monster system approach doesn't meet the requirements of small or medium size ACC, APP and TWR sites. It is based on the most advanced technology, open architecture, demand features, HMI personalization, cost effectiveness and safety. Now ready for the new and future communication standards.

Size and availability of this compact system makes it very flexible for installation and quick 
integration to cover airspace fulfill ICAO requirements.

System is re-build over the used one and stabile regional airport system. As major database is used Informix and it makes this system available for contingency functions where are different technologies and databases. Capabilities are basically oriented for smaller ACC or regular APP and TWR services. System is well documented and also safety assessment is applicable. Transformation from this size of the system to bigger one is possible with exchanges of FDPS and intern structure of the whole system. For Users there is a similar intuitive organization of control panel and the same CWS. The usage of Safety Nets is only the decision of the customer, because the system is possible to use and operate with Safety Nets module very effectively (see more on ATC modules). Architecture of the system is designed to ensure high reliability of the system even when functionality of one element is lost. That is why main system servers and in accordance of safety analyzes critical modules are in dual mode.

  • Data recorder assures recording of input surveillance data channels, resulting system tracks, AFTN communication, information from FDP,   screenshots of individual CWS for passive replay, Safety Nets alerts and other communication within the system.
